I am using the windows standard service from Host Gator. The price is a bit high but I am satisfied with its' service. It provides all the service that I require and so far I have no problem with them.

I like hostgator also they have done an excellent job for me. Good Tech support and even better server uptime and server speed.

One thing that I would reccommend to most is to use their Linux hosting for Joomla rather than the windows IIS servers.

Joomla can run on windows and some have said that it does a pretty good job. However Joomla was developed linux with appache servers. It is my opinion and experience that you will have fewer issues with Joomla on Linux/Apache.

wow thanks for you detailed review there about Hostgator.Defintely an better choice of hostgator that's make it stand out in the face of the crowded competition among webhostings companies.I will take that in consideration for my hosting plans

I heard that Hostgator is good but their support service isn't very good. I never used them so I can say just what I have heard. Another great host is supposedly Blue host. It is also very cheap and popular. One advice, when you are looking for hosts don't always pick it by the lowest price.They have top notch support from what I have experienced.

Thanks for the post.

I personally host several sites at HostGator and have had good support experiences. HostGator has live chat support with can be very helpful for some problems.

Another excellent choice is Rochen. Rochen Review They know Joomla inside and out and have very fast shared hosting servers. They could be a few dollars more per month but well worth it.
Don't think they have live chat but their email support is excellent.
