Just came across this from the HostGator twitter account.

Some of the biggest names in hosting have put this page together to help out.

The site links directly to the Red Cross which is nice. I am sure you are aware there are a lot of scammers out there so if you are able to donate to help the country of Haiti make sure you are donating directly to a recognized fund.

Looks like Hostgator took up the challenge to help Haiti in a big way.

They donated $100,000 to the Red Cross
