SiteOne Internet was started in January 2007 by Paul Srch and Chris Hatfield. Originally headquartered in Amarillo Texas, they are currently based near Atlanta, Georgia. Their servers are located in the Dallas, Texas datacenters owned by ThePlanet (SiteOne is a Hostgator reseller). Their focus is on speed, security, and reliability, along with ‘above and beyond’ customer support, at a reasonable price for entry and mid-level hosting needs.
SiteOne Plans and Features
SiteOne has three standard Joomla!-capable plans:
- Bronze Hosting (as low as $4.95 per month). Bronze level hosting has a disk quota of 200mb and 200mb per month data transfer. In addition to our standard hosting features, this level includes up to 10 MySQL databases and up to 10 subdomains. There are several additional features which can be ordered if you need expanded functionality.
- Silver Hosting (as low as $9.95 per month). Silver level hosting has a disk quota of 500mb and 5000mb per month data transfer. In addition to our standard hosting features, this level includes up to 30 MySQL databases and up to 30 subdomains. There are several additional features which can be ordered if you need expanded functionality.
- Gold Hosting (as low as $19.95 per month). Gold hosting has a disk quota of 1000mb and 7500mb per month data transfer. In addition to our standard hosting features, this level includes up to 50 MySQL databases and up to 50 subdomains. There are several additional features which can be ordered if you need expanded functionality.
We can also custom-design a hosting package for your specific needs.
None of our packages require a contract, although a 50% discount is given for semiannual, annual, or biannual prepayment .

SiteOne Server and Hosting Environment
Our servers are built for speed, security, and reliability with CentOS 5.5 Linux built on Intel Xenon processors. We also use state-of-the-art security, anti-spam, and antivirus software.
Your account is administered at SiteOne Internet using the cPanel control panel. From here, you can configure any aspect of your account including your email addresses, FTP, website files, additional software etc. MySQL is managed through phpMyAdmin found within cPanel.

Our servers were designed with Joomla! in mind. Joomla! can be easily installed by you, or we can install it for you at no additional charge.
